Brand Photography For Bespoke Shepherd Hut MakersJune 15, 2022
This Brand photography project for a bespoke shepherd hut maker was designed to produce content that would show case the client’s luxury shepherd huts by capturing the journey from build to finished product.
The huts are beautifully crafted, finished and and styled. The task was to photograph a finished hut in all its splendor, while capturing some of the process of producing the finished hut, along with the people making them.
In this commercial photography collection you will see interior photography, headshots and brand/lifestyle content all designed to fit the brief.
The overall aim with the interior photography was to photograph the shepherd’s huts to make them stand out as an attractive destination.
You’ll notice that the products used for the finishing and the furnishings are all of the highest standard so the approach that I took when photographing was to photograph wide interior shots and closeup details.
The edit style was very clean with rich vibrant colours to present a high end feel.
The workshop images are more of a reportage photography collection. Capturing the environment and the tool used to create the shepherd’s huts I also captured the people making the huts too.
The shoot style has a documentary feel but with the edit style we changed to a more textured look along worth some black and white photography too to try and give a tactile feel to the images.
Photographing the people that make the huts was a really special task. The final product is the lovingly crafted shepherd’s huts. The headshots showcase the people making them, it was important to capture their personalities and present them as the friendly happy people that they are.
